Introduction

Whether you are pregnant or a new mummy taking time out is, in my opinion, one of the best things you can do. This year has been tough if you’ve been through lockdown and haven’t been away. We have almost got used to not going to the hairdressers, not going on our usual weekenders and not having some time to ourselves. I’ve put a list together of ‘Baby Friendly Staycations & Pregnancy Spa Breaks.’
When I had my first baby we went away every few weeks. There’s nothing better than escaping to a place where you have no commitments, you have fresh bedding daily and you wake up to a breakfast bar. It wasn’t just self indulgent, it was also a perfect way to make memories as husband and wife, as a new family and it let us push the reset button.
I personally loved having a lockdown baby in the early days. Relaxing in your new bubble is bliss but I have missed weekend getaways, family holidays, the sun, the sea and just being somewhere else. I imagine you have too so I’ve put together a list of places to stay in the UK that are baby friendly or that have pamper packages. I will keep it updated as and when I come across hidden gems for you and your family.
